FAQ

Question: Is it possible to create multiple variable rate maps simultaneously on xarvio® for different fields?

Answer: Yes, creating multiple application plans for variable-rate fertilisers and seeds is simple and efficient, allowing for flexibility across different fields.

Question: After investing in a 36 metre tramline system, will the granular Fertiberia fertiliser spread effectively across a 36 metre width?

Answer: Yes, the granular fertiliser has undergone rigorous testing through various spreaders, achieving successful patterns across widths from 24 to 36 metres consistenly, ensuring effective coverage.

Question: Regarding your Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum agronomy packages, will farmers be required to pay for their participation in SFI schemes based on their acreage?

Answer: The agronomy packages cover all harvestable food crops in rotation. If a part of the rotation involves the use of an SFI option as a crop replacement e.g. Fallow then we can reduce the fee on this accordingly to reflect the reduced time factor and we would still need to cover the xarvio® Field Manager and soil sampling elements for the season.

Question: I am currently sourcing my Agronomic advice elsewhere; can I continue to do this and still be a part of the Low Carbon programme?

Answer: Yes, you can continue however, you would need to provide the application records to be recorded on xarvio® Field Manager to enable the system to function correctly. The use of xarvio® comes at a small additional cost.

Question: I understand that I cannot use any other carbon management schemes within the Low Carbon programme, but I have been using a different precision system for phosphate, potash, magnesium and lime management. I have also just recently invested in having the farm re-sampled for the next 4-year cycle. Can I still use this system within the Low Carbon programme?

Answer: Yes you can. You will need to provide the application records to be inputted into the xarvio® Field Manager.
